Eye for light and a creative mind? One of the world's leading furniture companies is looking for you as a Light Technician.

Job Description

You will assist in image and film production by providing high-quality and inspiring images of home furnishing solutions, literally illuminating our ideas. You will plan, prepare, and provide lighting according to descriptions created by the Photographer and Art Director.

You ensure that the right equipment is available; from logistics and inventory to rigging. With your expertise, you will be an excellent sounding board during photo shoots to find creative and effective solutions.

To succeed and thrive in the role of Light Technician, you should be organized and have a structured way of working. You enjoy working independently in an active environment. Movement and varying pace are things you appreciate in your daily work, as you are on the move all day. Handling heavy and sometimes cumbersome equipment also requires good physical fitness.

You keep up to date with trends, news, and technical equipment, likely stemming from your own passion for the craft. You are driven by your willingness and attitude to deliver, create, and develop.

Lighting according to image composition, angles, and briefs is something you have experience with. You also have good knowledge of photographic and lighting equipment, production methods, and green screen work.

Requirements

• Documented education and/or experience in lighting for photography or film.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Fluent in Swedish.
• Good command of English.

The Position

Working hours and periods are project-based and adapted to the customer's needs. This is a consultancy position via Zimmermans Recruitment & HR Consulting AB.
